Hello,

Thank you for choosing to get to know the staff of Astrea better!

I founded Astrea in 2011.

I’ve always been fascinated by learning and, even though it is one of the most important things in our life, we often fail at it. I’m not one to criticize and not provide alternatives, so I am dedicating my research at the University of Amsterdam to learning processes, as well as my activities as an entrepreneur. Besides being an educator at the University of Amsterdam and several other organizations myself.

Within Astrea the philosophy is to help people in both the short and the long term. We do this by helping students with the challenges they face in the present, but at the same time work on important aspects that influence the ability to learn, such as critical thinking, communication, and reflection.

Having excellent knowledge of a subject, doesn´t mean that you also are an excellent teacher. At Astrea we support our tutors in their teaching processes, by providing feedback and organizing workshops.

All our tutors go the extra mile to help their students.

Our international community client base was growing at such a pace that we decided to fully focus on them in the area of The Hague. We’re hoping to add new cities to our list soon.

Open communication lines play a big part in our organization, so if you would like to know more about us, please contact me.
